TINY HANDS, BIG HEARTS: CARING FOR EART

The children read the book Saving Tally and watched the Hope Works video. These resources helped them understand the importance of protecting the environment and inspired them to take action by creating a plastic collection bin for the school.  

Italian students have designed and built a plastic collection bin for the school to encourage recycling. The bin is specifically intended for collecting plastic bottles, making it easier to dispose of them properly and promote environmental awareness among students. This initiative aims to reduce plastic waste and contribute to a more sustainable future.  

 When my students learnt that they have the mission of  making a recycling bin were very happy. They used their fantasy and they made a robot as a recycling bin .His name is Mr. Recycling.

  My students prepared recycling bin as a result of a team for. We tried to emphasis the importance of recycling. And they enjoyed a lot while working together. 

  This is how my students and I created our banner and poster.

 My students and I loved Sally. We read the book and discussed it. Then we designed our worksheets. We colored Sally in the posters we made and made a model of her. We displayed these on our school and classroom boards.

  We prepared our poster using recycled paper with my students.
