TINY HANDS, BIG HEARTS: CARING FOR EART

Spanish student working at class During these days, spanishs students are watching videos, reading books and doing different activities to concern about water pullution. They are really motivated with activities and always are asking about the next,  

  Pupils from Primary School of Vatousa, Lesvos, Greece read the book, watched the video and drew Tally and her friend. 

 ROMANIA Activity: "SAVING TALLY"  

  After we read e book about environmental problems, we watched "Hope" video. We discussed environmental problems, how we can prevent the pollutions and what we can do to attract people's attention. 

  We read "Saving Tally" e book. My students enjoyed a lot. Giorgia prepared worksheets about the tale. My students were volunteer about the questions. Our lessons was enjoyable. 

  " Tiny Hands, Big Hearts: Caring for Earth" is a STEAM project that inspires young students to care for the environment, with a focus on understanding the impact of plastic. Through activities in Science, Technology, Art, and Civic Education, students explore nature, learn about the effects of plastic pollution, and discover sustainable practices. The project combines science experiments, digital tools, creative art, and community actions, empowering students to protect our planet by reducing plastic waste and adopting eco-friendly habits. 

 My students took inspiration from the Tally' s story and they decided to make a poster from recycled papers. THey wanted to express how easy a plastic basket can kill turtles and destroy the environment in general.
